So my last weekly update for Sister Bear was at the end of June. Whoops. Busy + tired + half-functioning laptop…the usual drill.
Week 24 was spent in Hilton Head enjoying Hannah’s first beach vacation. As you can see in the photo, she was quite a fan!
During Week 25 Hannah celebrated her first Fourth of July and looked very cute in her patriotic outfit. She also started sitting up on her own for brief periods.
Week 26 introduced two new things appropriate for our almost-sitter: the highchair that gave her a very Hannah-approved birds-eye view and her first time riding in the shopping cart seat.
I’ll make sure to add to my Mom of the Year application that I tossed LJ into the seat per usual, but took the time to carefully cover any surface Hannah might touch with a fluffy pink seat cover.
Excuse us, but sampling is very serious business…
During Week 27, Hannah and I spent the night apart for the first time. My good friend Abby got married, and I stayed at the hotel with her and several other bridesmaids on Friday night. Spoiler alert: It was awesome getting a full, uninterrupted night’s sleep!

At the very end of Week 27, Hannah sprouted her first two teeth!!
And just like that, we’re all caught up.
