Beautiful Pop of Color

Until last week, our bedroom could best be described as a cure for insomnia. It was a sea of neutral in the land of blah.

I have been looking for new bedding for a long time. I just wasn't finding what I was looking for design-wise, and it was hard to find something in the right size for my bedframe and extra deep mattress.

Well, you know what they say about finding things when you aren't looking?

I was perusing the bed and bath aisles at Target the other week when I was looking for my closet curtain. I came across a display of duvet covers, and one caught my eye. It was the perfect color and I loved the subtle pattern. I almost dismissed it because the brand is typically expensive. Then I saw the clearance sticker, crossed my fingers and nearly danced down the aisle when I saw the price. It was 75% off ... yep, I scored this king-size duvet for $25. That's what I call a steal!!

Even better, I took a chance on the slightly-too-big size and it shrunk down to the perfect size in the wash. We absolutely love the pop of color in our bedroom!
