He got too hot helping daddy outside, so came in for water and “panda bears.”
Watching his friend “kitty cat.” S/he is a friendly cat that often wanders through our yard. L.J. is mildly obsessed with what kitty cat might be doing at all times – “Kitty cat eating dinner too? Kitty cat taking baf (bath) like me? What is kitty cat do-ning?”
His 20-minute car nap (can we combine car and nap and just call them “craps?”) finally caught up with him around 5:30 p.m.
We tried to wake him up a short while later for dinner (well, really so he wouldn’t ruin bedtime) and this happened. We gave up and let him sleep at this point.
And cute baby girl clothes!!!! I’m really going to have to restrain myself, but willpower went out the window when I spotted the clearance racks at my favorite kids consignment shop…
Watching Bubble Guppies on the “iPewter” (iPad) because football season has started!!
Mommy and Daddy got a new bed!! We all love it, including L.J., who has taken to appearing at our door at 4 a.m. with his Baba and firetruck pillow. Definitely not the goal of our new purchase, but he models its comfort level pretty well:
