The Easter Bunny Can Celebrate Jeebus With Us!

Happy Easter!

We enjoyed a nice Easter this year, thankful for many blessings! As evidenced by the picture above, all four of us went to “big church” together. This picture was after Mass, so is also evidence that we survived in one piece.

We got just about the last seats in church, which happened to be in the middle of the pew three rows back from the altar. Mike and I about fainted at the prospect, but the kids did quite well all things considered. Naturally, being the Holmes family, it’s not church if we don’t have at least one notable moment…

I’m settling in at work and enjoying my new position/company. Right now it is a lot to take in and I come home each day utterly exhausted. But I’m really pleased with how quickly I’m picking things up! Each day I learn a little more and each meeting I attend feels a little less foreign.

The kids have adjusted seamlessly back to their full-time school routine. I find myself missing them so much during the day after being home with them for two months.

Our biggest news to share: Miss Hannah is walking!!! She’s been taking steps here and there for awhile. Easter weekend she progressed to 6+ each time and yesterday (April 19) she walked across the room for the first time.

Today she’s feeling very confident in her brand-new skill and I saw several attempts at run-walking. Go big or go home, I suppose. Shall we place bets on how long before our feisty Sister Bear becomes the first Holmes child to receive accident-related stitches?

I have so many posts to write and catch up on, but for now they remain in my head. That may or may not be a good idea, ha! Hopefully soon when things settle down just a bit.
