Grandma Tells It Like It Is

Grandma: Won’t be long now til LGLI is here!
Me: I know…we are getting really excited!
Grandma: How are you feeling? Are you ready to be done at this point?
Me: Oh goodness yes. All these people who say “I just loved being pregnant…”
Grandma: That is a bunch of baloney!!
Me: Yep, that’s what I was about to say.
Grandma: I had six kids in 10 years, so I was pregnant pretty much all the time. And sick with most of them. “I just loved being pregnant.” Yeah, right.

Needless to say, I do love my Grandma!!

(My grandma has called all her grandchildren (and now great grandson) “Little God Love It” before they are born – that’s where LGLI comes from)
