Yesterday we had our much-loved annual Thanksgiving potluck at work. I went upstairs and (perfect timing) avoided the mad rush. That also meant I happened to be front and center for our Sales VP. He is an avid photographer and the unofficial company historian. His first comment was, “Oh this is perfect – I have my wide-angle lens!” After multiple shots of my belly he then declares, “These are great! You look enormous!”
I’m not sure which was better – his slightly awkward but well-intended comments or the horrified looks from the four women standing behind me in line. It really was quite funny!
