Happy Halloween : 2014

We had the absolute best time Halloween night! Our friends (and neighbors) hosted a family-friendly Halloween party in the cul-de-sac and it was perfect for the toddler set. The kids had a blast running around like crazy and the adults were able to relax and socialize, knowing the kids were safe and there were many eyes keeping watch. It was so much fun!!

L.J. was a green dragon for Halloween. Initially he was a headless rabbit wearing an heirloom bunny costume minus the head/ears that he refused to wear. But Mike texted me a picture from his school parade and he looked like a forlorn street urchin. So we pulled out the spare costume and a dragon he became! And, yes, that is green eye shadow all over his face. It was a pretty awesome touch, if I do say so myself.
