New Garage!

L.J. has a brand-new garage! We did a little playroom rearranging and turned an unused ottoman into a garage for L.J.’s trucks. It was such an easy furniture hack – we screwed off the feet and turned it on its side – and L.J. thinks it’s a pretty darn cool garage.

The height is perfect too – he uses the “top” as a table for his play house and pirate ship.

Also new to the playroom is a gallery for L.J.’s school projects. It was easy and cheap – picture wire from Home Depot and little silver binder clips from Target – and I’m so glad we did it. L.J. is so proud to hang up his creations! I have to figure out how to judiciously edit them, as he wants them all hung up on display. The gold piece at the bottom is titled “Landon’s Picture of Daddy and Thomas the Train.” Random combination, yet indeed two of L.J.’s favorite things.
