The smell of bacon cooking makes my mouth water, but right now it doesn’t taste good or make me feel good.

Apparently I’m very special because I failed not one, but two tests at the doctor’s office this week. I’m not used to failing much of anything, but as we’ve seen I’m not really driving this pregnancy ship…
-------
Baby boy apparently got a little bored yesterday and decided to check out the rest of his little apartment. How do I know this? Because as soon as I got in bed last night I got a hard, very painful kick down there. Let’s not make a habit of that little one, ok?

One plus side of being pregnant is that I haven’t had to lug groceries up three flights of stairs in months. Awesome.
-----
One negative of being pregnant is that our grocery bill has skyrocketed. My husband laughs at how my carefully-planned, sale-based grocery lists have given way to, “Ooh look at this! That looks delicious. Let’s give it a try!” (Repeat 5x on an average trip)
-----
I’ve deemed it perfectly appropriate to eat peanut butter multiple times a day. I’m not watching my weight and it’s full of protein. Seriously, I’ve worked my way through half of a Jiff jumbo jar in a matter of weeks.

For the first time in my life I finally understand a girl’s need to have chocolate. Right now. And not the crappy stuff.
-------
My pregnancy pillows have names – Senor Squishy and Skinny Minnie. They are so important that my husband refers to them by their names and I don’t travel without them. Yes, they are flying to Amelia Island next weekend. I just haven’t figured out how yet.
-------
Pregnancy humor: I read a comment on BabyCenter this week where the woman said she really missed not having to roll out of bed in the morning. I laughed out loud because it is so true!

Dear Starbucks:
Pumpkin Spice Lattes are an annual special treat for me. Can you please keep them on the menu until the baby comes?
Thanks,
Pumpkin Lover
