Child of God

On April 21, 2013, L.J. was baptized into the Roman Catholic Church. He was baptized at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Atlanta by Monsignor Frank McNamee. Monsignor McNamee also married Mike and I, so it was very special that he was able to baptize our son, too.

My brother, J.T., is L.J.’s godfather and Mike’s sister, Ashley, is his godmother.

After the ceremony, we enjoyed a casual dinner with family. We kept it simple, ordering subs and cake from Publix and decorating with flowers (white roses and blue hydrangeas) and a banner that Mike and I made (I couldn’t get a great picture, but it turned out very pretty!).
