One of advantages of our current location is the great park located just down the street. It’s not a large park, but it does have quite a unique feature: it’s the neighborhood’s Little Tikes graveyard. There are dozens of Little Tikes toys – sandboxes, play sets, riding toys, slides, etc. – in the park that have been donated by local families who have outgrown them.
L.J. isn’t old enough to play at the park yet, but he does enjoy (heavily assisted) sliding on the Little Tikes slides! We’ve gone to the park a few times lately and he will go down the slide as many times as mommy’s and daddy’s backs and arms can withstand.
His reaction is adorable. He “sits” at the top and look around, and then we slide him down and at the bottom he looks up and gives us a little grin.
