L.J. has started solid food! He was rather indifferent with cereal, but bananas? It opened a whole new world for him! Most guides I referenced said to start with a spoonful, aiming for 1-2 tsp of solid food the first time. Umm…L.J. lapped up the entire jar, his mouth gaping like a baby bird every time he swallowed a mouthful.
After a few days of bananas, we’ve also introduced L.J. to green beans. Much to our surprise, he seems to like those, too!
L.J. has also learned how to roll back-to-tummy on his right side. He’s been doing it on his left side for a few weeks, and has just figured out the other side. He was pretty pleased with his accomplishment!
And as for his helmet? Well, he seems to be back to his happy-go-lucky self for the most part. The adjustment seems to have done the trick. Mommy and Daddy are also getting much better at putting it on/taking it off…much to L.J.’s relief, I’m sure.
