We’ll wrap-up September with another weekly picture – the number on the sign keeps inching closer and closer to 52. It’s hard to believe we have just over two months left until L.J. turns one!
Week 41 has been a good growth week for L.J. Nothing monumental, but he is working very hard at figuring out the mechanics of crawling. This has resulted in some spectacular face-plants; I hope he forgives Mommy and Daddy for laughing at some of them!
L.J. has discovered his tongue and finds it fascinating. He’s still at the age where sticking his tongue out is adorable, not defiant. We’ll enjoy that while it lasts!
He has developed a new communication method that I was hoping we’d bypass – the infamous “baby shriek.” Not quite sure how to discourage that while still encouraging him to be vocal and work on his sounds?
L.J. has also reached a small milestone that warms my heart – intentionally reaching out for Mommy. I’ve been looking forward to this non-verbal “I want Mommy” milestone :)
