Today we enjoyed a fun family outing to Burt’s Pumpkin Farm. Burt’s is an annual tradition for many Atlanta-area families, so we decided to go early in the season to beat the crowds.
We couldn’t have picked a more perfect day! Sunny, mild temps and fresh mountain air –nothing better!
We wandered around the pumpkin patch, admiring all of the gigantic pumpkins, and enjoyed overpriced-but-delicious slices of pumpkin roll.
We also took L.J. on a hayride. It was well done, about a 20 minute scenic ride through pumpkin patches and forested areas. L.J. didn’t quite know what to think of the bumpy ride at first, but he acclimated quickly. I say you’re never too old to enjoy a fall hayride!
Welcome, Fall!
