L.J.’s Favorite Toys

L.J. was just beginning to play when I did my first post about his favorite toys. He’s now got a lot more playing time under his belt, so I thought it would be interesting to do an update. There are some new favorites, and some that are continued favorites.

(I just piled his favorites on a blanket and snapped a quick photo…didn’t realize it added up to a baker’s dozen!)

1. Red plush dragon – Recently purchased from Costco, but already a favorite!

2. Fisher Price Sorting Bucket – Hands-down the toy that gets played with most.

3. VTech Learning Walker – For the parents out there, this is the least-annoying of all his singing/talking toys :)

4. Fisher Price Ring Stacker – Great hand-eye coordination toy.

5. Sophie the Giraffe – Greatest. Teether. Ever.

6. Mini Monkey – A great travel companion, Mini Monkey frequently joins us on errands. (a.k.a. WubbaNub “Mango Monkey”)

7. Skip + Hop Lamb – He jingles. Part of a 3-pack that came from Pottery Barn. There’s also an owl and a mouse. Such a cute little set – they used to hang above his swing.

8. Cool Whip Container – Yes, really.

9. DIY Sensory Toy – Colorful jingle bells in a Ziploc container.

10. Vulli Vanilla-Scented Teethers – These still smell like vanilla several months and many washes later!

11. Roller Balls – We have a combination of Fisher Price and Baby Einstein roller balls.

12. Ball Pit Balls – These came in a pack of 100 from Walmart. L.J. enjoys dumping all 100 out of the laundry basket…

13. Goodnight Moon Bunny – Saved the best for last! L.J. still loves “Bunny”!

Oops! I forgot to put a number next to the Fisher Price Learning Workbench! L.J. plays with this a lot and will frequently push other toys out of the way to get to it.
