These days L.J. is into…everything!! His curiosity is insatiable and he keeps mommy and daddy on our toes!
Frequently heard at our house:
- “Don’t roll underneath the bed!”
- “You can’t go any farther. There’s a wall there.”
- “Don’t tip that chair over on yourself!”
- “No, you may not eat the computer cord.”
- “Stop chewing on the tablecloth.”
- “No, you may not pull the night light out of the socket.”
He can officially get absolutely anywhere in the apartment by rolling…the fact that he can’t crawl yet is no deterrent to his mobility whatsoever. (Though he is SO desperate to crawl!!)
We’re childproofing as we go, but in general he is pretty good (and we keep a very close eye on him). The biggest things we have to be mindful of are computer and phone cords, which are hands-down his favorite “forbidden objects.” Oh, and the remote controls. He will toss a half-eaten bottle and launch himself across the couch if he spots one…
I have to say, though, we are enjoying this exhausting new phase! He is hilarious to watch and we love his spunk and curiosity.
