Sunday we had the luxury of a wide-open day. The only things on the agenda were church and laundry, so there was time to relax and even take a nap. What a (very) rare treat for mommy and daddy!
We decided to take advantage of the nice weather and go to the Lemonade Days festival. L.J. was about two years and 10 inches too short to partake in the fun, but we enjoyed walking around and sipping delicious fresh-squeezed lemonade. We did take L.J. into the petting zoo, which had a nice assortment of animals. Mommy liked all of them; L.J. liked the ones that were shorter than he is (read: lambs and bunnies). The super-soft angora bunnies were our favorite animal!
Afterwards we played on the playground, which L.J. loved per usual. The video below shows off his walking and climbing skills:
