For our third Fall Football Weekend, L.J. had a great time spending the day with Nana and Papa while I attended an all-day work event. I know…work on Saturday…but it was actually really interesting and I get a comp day for it.
I was a little sad to miss out on the fun, especially because Saturday was L.J.’s very first gymnastics class! My mom took some pictures to document the experience. She said that there was a noticeable difference in the coordination, physical abilities and willingness-to-listen between the toddler girls and the toddler boys. I’m not the least bit surprised by that! She also said that almost all the kids were a little nervous and unsure, and there were a few tears. The instructor said that was normal for this age group. Overall, my mom said he did pretty good and she thinks that it will be a great activity for him once he gets acclimated to it.
