Did you know that companies can’t reference the Super Bowl by name unless they have specific licensing permissions/agreements? Strange but true. That’s why there are so many references ala “The Big Game” in advertisements leading up to it.
Random trivia aside, it was a super Sunday for us! One of the things I have missed most since our move is our friends in our old neighborhood. We were delighted to receive a text from Warner’s family saying they were back in town for a visit and did we all want to get together for a park playdate – yes please!
I’m not sure how much L.J. remembered his buddy; after all, they are only three and it’s been a year since they’ve seen each other. But the three musketeers picked up where they left off and had a blast playing together. Well, four musketeers now that sweet Didi is old enough to join in the fun!
L.J. loved being able to run around with Ravi. We don’t see each other as often as we’d like, but those two boys are thick as thieves. They run up to each other for a big hug each time we get together, which is so sweet. Before we know it, Hannah will be big enough to play with Didi.
I didn’t snap any pictures of Hannah, but this was her first social outing!
Later that evening we had a family Super Bowl party. L.J. was so excited about having a picnic in the family room! He’s been playing picnic with his play food a lot lately, so this was a big deal for him.
For dinner we threw nutrition out the window and decided to have some of our favorite gameday appetizers for our meal. Delicious!
Hannah snoozed most of the game, but she confirmed that she’s a southern girl by showing off her touchdown arms:
