Camp Greenville

L.J., Hannah and I enjoyed two weeks in Greenville back at the beginning of March. Everyone had a fantastic time and it was hard to leave! We were blessed with near-perfect spring weather almost the entire time. In fact, it was so warm and sunny that I had to pick up a few warm-weather outfits for the kids!

A lot of time was spent on the nature trail behind my parent’s house, walking the loop during the day and searching for frogs by flashlight after dark.

We visited multiple playgrounds, bounce houses and even a trampoline park! My dad and I had as much fun as L.J. did on the trampolines – it’s a must-do activity the next time we return. We went early on a weekday morning and pretty much had the entire facility to ourselves. So, so much fun!!

Barnes & Noble provided an entire morning of entertainment between the books, train table and very large toy section. We also enjoyed story time and music at the big library downtown.

We even went on a train ride! A local park had a mini-train that made a loop around the park. L.J. thought it was very cool and Hannah enjoyed the breeze on her face.

L.J. got a haircut while we were there, notable because it's the first time he got his hair washed at the salon. He wasn't the biggest fan of that part, but we were proud of him for doing it!

Each of the kids had a “favorite” thing around the house. L.J.’s was the car ramp he set up in the garage. He had so much fun racing cars with Poppa and playing with Uncle J.T. and Uncle Nick’s old matchbox cars! Hanah’s was definitely the large ottoman in the keeping room. It was such a comfy nap spot for her (supervised of course!) and also a central spot where she could hear/watch everything going on.

All three of us enjoyed being spoiled by my parents with time, attention and lots of fun activities!
