Two big firsts for Hannah this week!
She started school for the first time and has had a great first week so far.
And…drumroll…she has mastered thumb sucking! She has been working on this skill since she was 30 minutes old and has finally figured out how to not only get her thumb into to her mouth, but also keep it there. As you might imagine, this newfound ability to self-soothe has benefitted the entire family.
A common thing we hear about Hannah these days is, “She looks just like you!” People who know L.J. also comment that she doesn’t look like him.
Well…I beg to differ. As Hannah has gotten a bit older, the sibling resemblance has started to emerge. Check out the comparison photo below that I did for fun.
One very obvious difference that hasn’t changed is their size. It’s a little hard to tell in the photo, but L.J. filled out that 9-month sleeper at 13 weeks whereas it is still very large on Hannah. She had several inches between her feet and the bottom of the sleeper!
