Yesterday we joined the club of “those” people – the ones who drive home with their back end flappin’ in the wind. (My husband was not thrilled we joined this club…)
We went to pick up the crib and it was too big to fit in the CR-V by about six inches. Whoops. I walked two doors down to Michaels and discovered they don’t carry rope. Really?!? I found something called “parachute cord”, Mike tied the liftgate down and we were off.
Thank goodness it was a Sunday morning and there was virtually no traffic!
We got home and realized that there was no way the carefully wedged crib was coming out of the car in it's box, so we ended up taking it all of out of the box to get it inside. At that point we realized that the crib decision was “final” and decided to go ahead and set it up.
It looks great! We’re really pleased with it, and it’s the perfect size for the room. (I’ll post nursery progress pics as we get get farther along with decorating. Right now the crib is hosting all the awesome baby gear we got this weekend.)
