Look what my little man can do:
He has just started to push himself up and Mike and I were so excited to see him accomplish this milestone for the first time!
L.J. has also started to pay a bit more attention to his toys. It’s still pretty fleeting, but he does show more than a passing interest in his Fauna doll from Sleeping Beauty and also in the cute (and more boy-appropriate) blue-and-white giraffe seen below. He is mesmerized by the vivid emerald color of the doll’s dress whereas he loves the texture of the giraffe’s fur. Oh, and the giraffe plays Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star when you pull its tail. I’m fairly certain the giraffe is going to lose its tail before L.J. gets tired of hearing the song play!
Strange but true: See the brown monkey in the picture above? (Yes, the thing that looks more like a Teletubby than a monkey) It plays wedding music. Honest to goodness. It alternates several wedding songs with rainforest sounds. I’ve got to get it on video because no one believes me when I say it.
